Let's work together!
I am a behaviour consultant for children from birth to 12 years old, including neurodiverse children. I provide parent coaching and professional training. I am available in person in the Ottawa area and I am available virtually to any location: parent coaching and professional training.
About Me
I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator, and I have a Bachelor of Psychology, a diploma in Behaviour Science Technology, and a certification as a Forest and Nature School Practitioner. Over the past 30 years, I have held several roles in the childcare sector: educator, director of a nursery school, facilitator for drop-in playgroups, parent and educator trainer, special needs resource consultant, and behaviour consultant.
Through training, public speaking, and coaching both parents, early childhood and para-medical professionals, I am enthusiastic to share the most recent research in neuroscience and attachment theory. I will give practical strategies that enhance executive function skills such as problem solving, frustration tolerance, perspective taking, and self-regulation. By improving these skills in conjunction with building strong connections, children learn to be more resilient. For more information about training, coaching or public speaking services, please send me an email at PGBehaviourConsulting@gmail.com.

My Mission
When we build life skills through connection, we increase resiliency and decrease challenging behaviour.
My Values
-
All children are competent and capable.
-
Brains are built with love and connection.
-
Adults must engage in positive bonding behaviours in order for secure and healthy attachments to develop in children.
-
Behaviour is the child’s way to communicate a problem.
-
Understanding behaviour through a neuroscience, attachment, and child development framework is key to resilient and regulated children.
